Rachel's Other Half
Pete Townshend has reopened his blog, *The Boy Who Heard Music*, in his words, "..to provide a direct line for people who want to give me feedback on the various projects I am working on in the coming year."
I have been amazed at the accessibility of this man *who* is known the world over for his musical genius as well as his literary talent. While he has never commented on my blog, he has commented directly to some of his fans on theirs. I would say, in this day and age, that is pretty kewl. Those interested to stop by and comment to Pete can click the link below. Tell 'em *Lace* sent ya! :)~

Hi Lace,
I agree with you, Pete is the most Down to Earth person in the world. Most of the People I comment to are all from Pete's blog.
I still haven't received a comment from Pete on my blog, but I did get one from Simon. Someday we'll both get a comment from Pete.
Your blog is very interesting, I'm going to add it to my list of bloggers. Feel free to do the same if you like.
Darlin' you are not on the list for my new blog! LOL Sounds like a secret club or something hehehe.
Metalchick,
Hi, thanks for stopping by! Simon and Rachel have both responded on my blog as well and I was thrilled. The Townshends are an amazing bunch, lots of talent with a generous dash of Down to Earth goodness. I met Rachel when I was posting to the VH1 Kept message board. She saw my post about her there and came over here to comment. She made her blog from that day and she's going blogger strong ever since. She's such a sweetie.
I'll come by and visit you. I don't blog consistently but please do stop by when you're *in the neighborhood*! :)

Black Velvet Lace,
You are welcome. Simon hasn't been by my blog for a while, but he does respond to my comments in his blog.
Drop by whenever you can.
Metalchick,
Kewl, and bring that portrait you drew to a concert, take it from me, you never know! (g)

I will definately bring my drawing of The Who with me. This story I'm telling here will explain why.
I've done that before. I had a drawing of Tom Morello, the guitarist from Audioslave. I went to Lollapalooza where Audioslave were on the bill. Tom had a booth up for his orgainization Axis of Justice. He was down there for a meet & greet and I had the drawing with me. We were all told that he would only sign items from the booth. I get there and hand him a poster I bought and just when I was about to leave, one of the volunteers at the booth was like "wait! what about your drawing?" Good thing I showed it to her earlier. So anyways, I quickly turn back around and show Tom my drawing. He asked me if I would like him to sign it. I told him "If you want to" and he did! He was so cool and Down to Earth.
I know that if I were at a meet & greet with Pete Townshend, and the same thing happened there, Pete would do the same thing.
Metalchick,
Sounds like the same kind of scenario I described on your blog (http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=17389175&postID=114954174579987763) when James Taylor signed the portrait I drew of him. Maybe I'll post a blog about that here.
And I think you're right about Pete.
Keep rock n rollin'
:)
